Ann Patrice changes coaches

A new beginning for Ann Patrice.
Ann Patrice McDonough has begun training with new coaches Christy Krall and Damon Allen at the Broadmoor Skating Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

McDonough has been training the past three years with Tom Zakrajsek.

McDonough had a successful run with Zakrajsek. She won the 2002 World Junior Championship, 2000 U.S. National Junior title and the 2000 ISU Grand Prix Final among juniors. She was fourth last year at the U.S. Nationals.

Krall has been out of coach from 1995, serving as the senior director of athlete programs for U.S. Figure Skating. Krall recently returned to coaching and had been active at the Broadmoor Skating Club for over 30 years.

Allen won the U.S. Junior men’s championship in 1991. He skated seniors and retired at the end of the 1999-2000 season. He will work with McDonough on a day-by-day basis.
