Ryan Bradley, who is the 2007 U.S. Silver Medalist and a three-time U.S. Collegiate Champion, began skating at the age of 2 because his sister Becky, now a figure skating coach, skated. His parents were also figure skaters. Ryan is studying business at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and one day would like to go to graduate school at Kansas University. He has said his biggest life-defining moment as going to college.
Ryan's family moved to Colorado Springs when he was 12 because of his figure skating talent. His father left a successful medical practice in St. Joseph, MO, so Ryan could train at the Colorado Springs World Arena. He has been coached by Tom Zakrajsek since he was 5 years old. He landed a double Axel, triple salchow and triple toe loop by the time he was 9.
In his spare time, he volunteers for the Broadmoor Skating Club and coaches at the World Arena.
