Johnny Weir

Johnny Weir, one of skating's "rising stars," didn't begin skating until he was 12 years old.

But it didn't take him long to become a champion. In 2001, he won the World Junior Championship, capping off a wonderful year of skating. In 2004 and 2005 he added the U.S. National Championship title to his list of accomplishments. He began 2006 by winning the U.S. Championship for the third straight year.
